Jimmy Vallance: Producer or Olympic hurdler?

Jimmy Vallance's favourite 5

My5 with Jimmy Vallance

With all the accolades heaped on Jimmy Vallance by our good friend Dom we decided to find out what this guy was all about. Turns out, he’s more than just a guy high-jumping in an empty room.

Jimmy’s been on the grind for the last 4 years and is finally starting to see the fruits of his labour. His radio show, “Talk Action”, on DI.FM has started to accumulate a regular following, and his label, by the same name, is set to have its first release in early March.

From what we’ve heard Jimmy’s worked with some of the best in the business including Paul Van Dyk, Sander Van Doorn and Lee Burridge. His sound is unique in that he’s fused the cutting edge European sound with the streamlined North American groove.

Jimmy Vallance’s My5
  1. “DJ Dello – Bebi’s Dance” -This is a really erie, dark, prog-house track that just works
  2. “Moog Conspiracy & Breger – Screenshot” – A great groove coupled with a solid sound is always a winner
  3. “Miss Babayaga – Misla” – This track has a great vibe with some really nice rhythm elements thrown in
  4. “ChristofIBZRecordings” – This just sounds like it could do some damage on the dance-floor
  5. “Allex – Twister” – A little tech-trance never hurt anyone

“I plan on releasing a bunch of tracks, both on my own (Talk Action Records) and on a few other select labels.”, said Vallance. “I’m hoping this will be a break-out year for me.” We’ll just have to wait and see how far a witty attitude, a couple of v-neck t-shirts and some groovin’ tracks can take you.

Keeping up with the high flying Jimmy is not easy but why not join him on Facebook or check him out here:
