Mano-A-Mano vs Battle of the DJs

Mano-A-Mano and Battle of the DJs, what’s the difference?

If you’re new to the site or you just plain don’t know what the difference is between our “Mano-A-Mano Battles” and our “Battle of the DJs” competitions let me explain.

Battle of the DJs

Our “Battle of the DJs” contests are huge open tournaments with some pretty amazing prizes for the top vote getters. The grand prize is always a 45 minute opening set, flight, hotel, and $500 cash at a massive global event..

Opening Set at a Global Event

Previous contests have included: The BPM Conference (Steve Angello, Snder Kleinenberg, Dubfire, Dos Dos, Victor Calderone, Guy Gerber, Stacey Pullen, Walley Lopez, Nick Curly, Steve Lawler, Hedkandi and more) in Playa del Carmen as well as the Om Records Party(Groove Armada, Mark Farina, BassNectar, Peter Kruder, Fred Everything, People Under the Stairs, Miguel Migs, Kaskade and many more) Winter Music Conference Party in Miami. The winning set is broadcast “live-to-air” to over 150,000 listeners world wide on our partner site Awdio.com.

Mano-A-Mano

Our “Mano-A-Mano” Battles are weekly one-on-one contests between two producers. Each producer is given a sound library courtesy of our partners at LoopMasters.com and has one week to create a completely original track from the sound samples that they’ve been assigned. It’s a pretty amazing feat but nothing that’s too tough for an AudioAcademy DJ!
