Audio Academy, LateNites.ca Partner
Plan to bring opening sets to local DJs
TORONTO, CANADA: LateNites.ca, the biggest promoter in the Tri-City area has partnered with the AudioAcademy.fm, the rising music resource center to provide local DJs with an opportunity to open for international DJs in locally in Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener and London.
"When we were first approached by LateNites to work on a program that work on a program that would empower local DJs we knew we needed to jump on board immediately," said Alen Bubich founder of the AudioAcademy. "We knew our members would be overwhelmed with the volume and quality of bookings that LateNites brings to the table, not to mention the quality of their productions. For an aspiring DJ to have an opportunity to share the stage with Lee Mortimer, Autoerotique, MSTRKRFT, Foamo, Hatiras, Steve Aoki, Jean Elan and hundreds of other top bookings right here in our back yard is an unbelievable opportunity."
"We knew we wanted to source some fresh, homegrown talent," says Mitch Ross, co-founder of LateNites.ca. "The AudioAcademy gives us an opportunity to tap into the best young DJ talent in Southern Ontario. It's also important to me personally and to LateNites as a company that we have a hand in developing these young DJs. If Deadmau5 is an example, there's no limit to what the talent in this region can do."
"Our long term goal is to help young DJs in the area develop into international superstars," continued Alen. "The partnership between the AudioAcademy.fm and LateNites provides these young DJs with a platform that will allow them to gain the knowledge and experience required to reach those levels."
